South Dakota Lease Requirements: Methamphetamine Disclosure

South Dakota Codified Law 43-32-30 requires Landlords with “actual knowledge” of the existence of any prior manufacturing of methamphetamines on the property to disclose this to Tenants and prospective Tenants.

In buildings with multiple units, this disclosure requirement only applies to the unit where methamphetamine was manufactured.

South Dakota Landlords should attach this Meth Disclosure as an addendum to their South Dakota Lease Agreement.
